There is a lot of confusion about kratom extracts and enhanced kratom that we hope to clear up in this article.
To be clear, enhanced kratom is a form of kratom extract. The difference is that enhanced kratom is typically a blend of kratom powder with extract in it. There are a lot of details to understand, so read carefully before you make a purchase from a vendor.
How is enhanced kratom made?

Typically, the kratom extract that makes enhanced kratom comes from heating up regular kratom powder to a high temperature, cooking it down. This breaks down the alkaloids and activates them, making it easier to further refine the kratom. The next step is usually to add a solvent of some kind to pull the alkaloids out of the cooked kratom powder.
Then, once the solvent has evaporated, you are left with a hard sheet of extracted kratom. This material is turned again back into a powder. Then, this powder is added to the regular kratom powder which makes ‘enhanced kratom’
To recap, enhanced kratom is a mix of regular kratom powder with some added kratom extract.
Typically, the enhanced kratom is about 10% kratom extract by volume. This means that when you buy enhanced kratom, you’re actually buying mostly regular kratom powder with only a small portion of especially enhanced kratom extract.
Additionally, although it may seem like a good idea, don’t try to make enhanced kratom at home. This is a process that can involve dangerous chemicals and high-heat. For this reason, simply buy enhanced kratom or other kratom extracts instead of trying to make them at home. You run many different risks performing extractions at home.
How to buy enhanced kratom
Enhanced kratom is available at all types of kratom vendors around the internet. You will typically find it in the powders section or the kratom extracts section.
We recommend browsing very popular, high-ranking vendors when shopping for kratom extraction products such as enhanced kratom. The kratom extraction process requires a lot of careful processes that involve chemicals. In order to get a high quality product, do your best to shop at high quality vendors.

Furthermore, we recommend avoiding trying to find cheap enhanced kratom. If you do manage to find a low price on enhanced kratom, you run the risk of it being a poorly made product, or it will be very weak in alkaloid strength.
You may also find enhanced kratom at certain stores like smoke shops, head shops, or even convenience stores. Buying enhanced kratom products in a store is almost always a bad idea. These products are off-brand and unapproved by many of the safe kratom manufacturing processes that online vendors use. Secondly, kratom extract products in stores are very expensive when you compare them to online vendors. For these reasons, avoid buying enhanced kratom in a store.
Enhanced kratom and other kratom extracts are usually more expensive than simply buying kratom powder. This is why deals on enhanced kratom are hard to come by, because it usually means the product is low quality.

A second important point we’ve covered a few times is that enhanced kratom is stronger than regular kratom powder. This means you do not need to take a normal dose of 3.0-5.0 grams. With enhanced kratom, start smaller at 0.5-1.5 grams! The strength of enhanced kratom might take you by surprise, so we really recommend starting small and taking it slow.
